English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, Habib al-Mu'allim informed us, from Ata', from Jabir, that a man said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: O Messenger of Allah, I vowed that if Allah gave you victory over Makkah, I would pray in Jerusalem. He said: Pray here. The man asked again, so he said: Pray here. He asked again, so he said: Do as you wish, then.
