حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ احْبِسُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ فَوْرَةُ الْعِشَاءِ فَإِنَّهَا سَاعَةٌ تَخْتَرِقُ فِيهَا الشَّيَاطِينُ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, he said: Habib al-Mu'allim informed us, from Ata', from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Keep your children in until the intensity of the evening has passed, for it is an hour in which the devils spread about.
