حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ يَعْنِي الْأَحْمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ رَمَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي بِكَمْ رَمَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Hayyan Abu Khalid - meaning al-Ahmar - told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, threw pebbles the size of those used for flicking. Sulayman ibn Hayyan told us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: "I do not know with how many the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, threw."
