حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ فَحَجَمَهُ قَالَ فَسَأَلَهُ كَمْ ضَرِيبَتُكَ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةُ آصُعٍ قَالَ فَوَضَعَ عَنْهُ صَاعًا.
English Translation
Affan told us, Abu Awanah told us, Abu Bishr Ja'far ibn Abi Wahshiyyah told us, from Sulayman ibn Qays, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, summoned Abu Taybah and he cupped him. He asked him: "How much is your tax?" He said: "Three sa's." So he waived one sa' for him.
