English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid told us, Abbad ibn Abbad told us, from Muhammad ibn Amr, from Sa'id ibn al-Harith al-Ansari, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, he said: I used to pray the noon prayer with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and I would take a handful of pebbles in my palm to let them cool until I prostrated on them because of the intensity of the heat.
