English Translation
Husayn told us, in the exegesis of Shayban, from Qatadah: Anas ibn Malik told us that al-Rubayyi' — she being the mother of Haritha ibn Suraqah — came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "O Prophet of God, will you not tell me about Haritha?" He had been killed on the day of Badr, struck by a stray arrow. "If he is in Paradise I will be patient, but if it is otherwise I will strive hard in weeping for him." He said: "O Umm Haritha, they are gardens within Paradise, and your son has attained the highest Firdaws." Qatadah said: Firdaws is the elevated part of Paradise, its middle and its best part.
