English Translation
Affan told us: Hammad told us: Thabit informed us, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O company of the Ansar, did I not come to you while you were astray, and Allah guided you through me; and enemies, and Allah, Mighty and Sublime, united your hearts through me?" Then he said to them: "Will you not say: You came to us as an outcast and we sheltered you, fearful and we gave you security, forsaken and we helped you?" They said: "Rather, to Allah is the favor upon us and to His Messenger."
