English Translation
Ali told us: Ubaydullah ibn Abi Bakr told us, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: A hare started up and the people chased it. I was among the first to reach it, so I caught it and brought it to Abu Talha. He said: He ordered it slaughtered, then it was dressed. Then he took its hindquarters and said, 'Take this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.' He said: So I brought it to him. He said: I said, 'Abu Talha has sent you the hindquarters of this hare.' He said: So he accepted it from me.
