حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسًا قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ قَالَ وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ فَقُلْتُ مَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ.
English Translation
Bahz told us: Shu'bah told us: Qatadah informed me that he heard Anas say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "There is no contagion and no evil omen." He said, "And the good omen pleases me." I said, "What is the good omen?" He said, "The good word."
