حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ وَهُمَا رَجُلَانِ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ بَنِي مَازِنِ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ وَكَانَا ثِقَةً عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَنٍ وَعَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ وَهُمَا مِنْ رَهْطِهِمَا وَكَانَا ثِقَةً عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ مِنْ الْوَرِقِ صَدَقَةٌ وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسٍ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ صَدَقَةٌ وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوْسُقٍ مِنْ التَّمْرِ صَدَقَةٌ.
English Translation
Ya'qub told us, his father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban and Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'sa'a told me - and they were two men of the Ansar, from Banu Mazin ibn al-Najjar, and both were trustworthy - from Yahya ibn Umara ibn Abi Hasan and Abbad ibn Tamim, who were from their kinsmen and both were trustworthy, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'There is no zakat due on less than five awaq of silver, nor on less than five camels, nor on less than five wasqs of dates.'"
