حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُعَقِّبَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الْعُمَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ مَوْلَى آلِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْأَمَانَةِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الرَّجُلَ يُفْضِي إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَتُفْضِي إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَنْشُرُ سِرَّهَا.
English Translation
Isma'il b. Muhammad - meaning Abu Ibrahim al-Mu'aqqib - narrated to us, Marwan - meaning Ibn Mu'awiyah al-Fazari - narrated to us, Umar b. Hamzah al-Umari narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman b. Sa'd, the freedman of the family of Abu Sa'id, narrated to us: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the gravest breaches of trust before Allah on the Day of Resurrection is a man who is intimate with his wife, and she with him, and then he spreads her secret."
