Attab told us: Abdullah told us: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us: Yazid ibn Abi Habib told me, from Yazid ibn Abi Sa'id, freedman of al-Mahri, from his father, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent an expedition against Banu Lihyan - he said, meaning, let one man go out from every two - and he said to the one who stayed behind, "Whichever of you two takes good care of the one who goes out, in his family and property, will have a reward equal to half the reward of the one who went out."
