حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَاجْعَلْ مَعَ الْبَرَكَةِ بَرَكَتَيْنِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Harb narrated to us, Yahya — meaning Ibn Abi Kathir — narrated to us, he said: Abu Sa'id, the freedman of al-Mahri, told me, he said: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri told me, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Allah, bless for us our mudd, O Allah, bless for us our sa', and grant, along with the blessing, two blessings."
