English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you sleeps, the Shaytan ties three knots at the back of his head, striking each knot and saying: You have a long night ahead, so sleep. If he wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone. If he performs ablution, another knot is undone. If he prays, another knot is undone, and he starts the morning energetic and cheerful. Otherwise, he starts the morning lazy and ill-tempered.'
