حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ التَّثَاؤُبُ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ فَأَيُّكُمْ تَثَاءَبَ فَلْيَكْتُمْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The eyes of two persons shall not be touched by the Fire: an eye that weeps out of fear of Allah, and an eye that spends the night guarding in the cause of Allah.'
