Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ ال��َّحْمَنِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّتِ الرِّيحُ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ لاَقِحًا، لاَ عَقِيمًا.
English Translation
Hadrat It is reported by Yazeed that when the wind was very strong Salamah (may Allah be well pleased with him) made this supplication:" O Allah cause this wind to bring rain and let it not be without benefit".
Urdu Translation
حضرت یزید سے روایت ہے کہ جب تیز ہوا چلتی تو حضرت سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ یہ دعا مانگتے: 'اے اللہ! اس ہوا کو بارش لانے والی بنا دے اور اسے بے فائدہ نہ رہنے دے۔'
