حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَعْمَشَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، فِي الصُّفُوفِ الْمُقَدَّمَةِ فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرْفَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلاَ تَصُفُّونَ كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ " . قُلْنَا وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ " يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Will you not form rows as the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord, the Mighty and Glorious?' We said: 'How do the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'They complete the front rows and stand close together in the row.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کیا تم اس طرح صفیں نہیں باندھتے جس طرح فرشتے اپنے رب جلّ و عزّ کے حضور صفیں باندھتے ہیں؟ ہم نے عرض کیا: فرشتے اپنے رب کے حضور کیسے صفیں باندھتے ہیں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: وہ اگلی صفیں مکمل کرتے ہیں اور صف میں خوب مل کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں۔
