Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، أَنَّ اللَّيْثَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي بَعْثٍ فَقَالَ " إِنْ وَجَدْتُمْ فُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا " . فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sent us in a contingent and stated: "If you find such-and-such persons (kill them but do not burn them)." He then narrated its meaning (similar to the preceding hadith).
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہمیں ایک لشکر میں بھیجا اور ارشاد فرمایا: "اگر فلاں اور فلاں کو پاؤ (تو قتل کرو اور جلاؤ نہیں)۔" پھر اسی مفہوم کی حدیث بیان فرمائی۔
