حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ غَدَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ مِنًى حِينَ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ صَبِيحَةَ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ حَتَّى أَتَى عَرَفَةَ فَنَزَلَ بِنَمِرَةَ وَهِيَ مَنْزِلُ الإِمَامِ الَّذِي يَنْزِلُ بِهِ بِعَرَفَةَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ رَاحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُهَجِّرًا فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ رَاحَ فَوَقَفَ عَلَى الْمَوْقِفِ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) set out from Mina on the Day of Arafah (9th of Dhul-Hijjah) after offering the Fajr prayer, and proceeded until he reached Arafat. He halted at Namirah — which is the place where the imam (leader of Hajj) dismounts at Arafat. When the time of the Zuhr prayer approached, the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) set out at midday and combined the Zuhr and Asr prayers. He then addressed the people with a sermon, after which he proceeded and stationed himself at the standing-place of Arafat.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم یومِ عرفہ (نویں ذوالحجہ) کو صبح کی نماز پڑھ کر منیٰ سے روانہ ہوئے، یہاں تک کہ عرفات تشریف لائے اور نَمِرہ میں اترے — اور نَمِرہ عرفات میں امام کے اترنے کا مقام ہے۔ جب ظہر کا وقت قریب آیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم عینِ دوپہر میں روانہ ہوئے اور ظہر و عصر جمع کر کے ادا فرمائیں، پھر لوگوں کو خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا، پھر تشریف لے گئے اور عرفات کے موقف میں وقوف فرمایا۔
