حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ كَانَ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
English Translation
Kathir ibn Abbas narrates that Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) used to narrate that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed during a solar eclipse — similar to the hadith of 'Urwah from Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) — from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he prayed two rak'ahs with two bowings in each rak'ah.
Urdu Translation
کثیر بن عباس بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما بیان فرماتے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سورج گرہن میں نماز پڑھی — عروہ کی حدیث کی مانند جو حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے ہے — رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے مروی ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں جن میں ہر رکعت میں دو رکوع تھے۔
