حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَرْحُومٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْحُبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Mu'adh ibn Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates from his father that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade al-hubwah (sitting with the knees drawn up and wrapped with one's arms or garment) on Friday while the imam is delivering the khutbah.
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاذ بن انس (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے جمعے کے دن امام کے خطبے کے وقت احتباء (گھٹنے اٹھا کر بیٹھنا اور ہاتھوں یا کپڑے سے ان کو باندھنا) سے منع فرمایا۔
