نَاشَرِيكٌ، عَنْسَالِمٍ الأَفْطَسِ، عَنْسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ, قَالَ:" الَّذِي قَدْ أُشْهِدَ وَلَيْسَ الَّذِي لَمْ يَشْهَدْ".

Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The witness referred to is one who was present and already testified, not one who was absent.

نَاإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: نَاابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْمُجَاهِدٍقَالَ:" إِذَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَكَ شَهَادَةٌ فَدُعِيتَ".

Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When you have testimony and you are called to give it, present it.
