الترجمة الإنجليزية
When Abdullah received news of the death of Utbah, he wept. It was said to him: 'You weep?' He said: 'He was my brother in lineage and my companion with the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. Despite that, I would not have wished to have died before him, for his dying so that I may seek reward for his loss is more beloved to me than my dying so that he seeks reward for mine.'
