Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5497 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ قَالَ سَعْدٌ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرَةٍ وَمَعَنَا شَيْءٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ فَقَالَ لِي صَفْوَانُ أَطْعِمْنِي هَذَا التَّمْرَ فَقُلْتُ إِنْهُ تَمْرٌ قَلِيلٌ وَلَسْتُ آمَنُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِهِ فَإِذَا نَزَلُوا أَكَلْتَ مَعَهُمْ فَقَالَ أَطْعِمْنِي فَقَدْ أَهْلَكَنِي الْجُوعُ وَذَكَرَ مَا بَلَغَ مِنْهُ فَأَبَيْتُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ فَعَرْقَبَ الرَّاحِلَةَ الَّتِي عَلَيْهَا التَّمْرُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَّسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «قُولُوا لِصَفْوَانَ فَلْيَذْهَبْ» قَالَ فَلَمْ يَبِتْ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ يَطُوفُ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَى عَلِيًّا ؓ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ أَذْهَبُ؟ أَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْكُفْرِ؟ فَأَتَى عَلِيٌّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَخْبَرَهُ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «قُولُوا لِصَفْوَانَ فَلْيَلْتَحِقْ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sa'd said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a march and we had some dates. Safwan said: "Feed me those dates." I said: "They are few and I am not sure he will not ask for them. When they stop, you can eat with them." He said: "Feed me! Hunger is killing me." I refused, and he hamstrung the camel carrying the dates. This reached the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: "Tell Safwan to leave." That night, he went around to the Companions and came to 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Where shall I go? Shall I go to disbelief?" 'Ali went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and told him. He said: "Tell Safwan to rejoin us."
