Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4234 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا هَاشِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ ذِي مَخْبَرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ اطَّلَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَهِي بَطْحَاءُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُعَمَّرَ لَيْسَ فِيهَا مَدَرَةٌ وَلَا وَبُرٌّ فَقَالَ يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ إِنِّي مُشْتَرِطٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ثَلَاثًا وسَائِقٌ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَا تَعْصِي وَلَا تَغْلِي وَلَا تَكَبَّرِي فَإِنْ فَعَلْتِ شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ تَرَكْتُكَ كَالْجَزُورِ لَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْ أَكْلِهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, looked down upon the people of Madinah when it was a barren valley before it was populated — with no building or dwelling in it — and said: 'O people of Yathrib, I am setting three conditions upon you, and I will send to you every kind of fruit: Do not disobey, do not inflate prices, and do not become arrogant. If you do any of that, I will leave you like a slaughtered camel that cannot prevent anyone from eating it.'"
