Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3442 حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي إِلَّا ثَلَاثَ خِلَالٍ أَنْ يُكْثَرَ لَهُمْ مِنَ الْمَالِ فَيَتَحَاسَدُوا فَيَقْتَتِلُوا وَأَنْ يُفْتَحَ لَهُمُ الْكُتُبُ يَأْخُذُ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَبْتَغِي تَأْوِيلَهُ وَلَيْسَ يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبَّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ وَأَنْ يَرَوْا ذَا عِلْمِهِمْ فَيُضَيِّعُوهُ وَلَا يُبَالُونَ عَلَيْهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated Abu Malik al-Ash'ari: He heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, 'I do not fear for my Ummah except three things: that wealth be increased for them and they become envious of one another and fight; that the Books be opened to them and the believer takes them seeking their interpretation, though none knows their interpretation except Allah - and those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it, all of it is from our Lord," and none take heed except those of understanding; and that they see a person of knowledge among them and neglect him, not caring about him.'
