Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3342 حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا شَبَّابٌ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو وَهْبٍ السَّهْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ الْقُشَيْرِيِّ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَعِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ §أُثْبِتُوا يَوْمَ الْيَرْمُوكِ فَدَعَا الْحَارِثُ بِشَرَابٍ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ عِكْرِمَةُ فَقَالَ ادْفَعُوهُ إِلَى عِكْرِمَةَ فَدُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ عَيَّاشُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ فَقَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ ادْفَعُوهُ إِلَى عَيَّاشٍ فَمَا وَصَلَ إِلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ حَتَّى مَاتُوا جَمِيعًا وَمَا ذَاقُوهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated that al-Harith ibn Hisham, Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl, and Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah were gravely wounded on the Day of Yarmuk. Al-Harith asked for a drink, then Ikrimah looked at him, so al-Harith said, 'Give it to Ikrimah.' It was passed to Ikrimah, who then saw Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah looking at him, so Ikrimah said, 'Give it to Ayyash.' But the water did not reach any of them before they all died, and none of them tasted it.
