Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2722 حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ سَالِمٍ الشَّاشِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ «لَقَدْ فَارَقَكُمْ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ بِعِلْمٍ وَلَا يُدْرِكُهُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْآخِرِينَ مَنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَبْعَثُهُ فَيُعْطِيهِ الرَّايَةَ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ وَلَا يَرْجِعُ حَتَّى يَفْتَحَ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَيْهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَمِيكَائِيلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ يُقَاتِلُونَ مَعَهُ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا إِلَّا حُلِيًّا قِيمَتُهُ سَبْعُ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَضَلَتْ عَنْ عَطَائِهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There has departed from you a man who was not preceded by anyone among the early ones in knowledge, nor will anyone among the later ones reach him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) would send him and give him the banner, then he would go out and not return until Allah Most High granted him victory. Jibril was on his right and Mika'il on his left, fighting alongside him. He died and did not leave behind any dinar or dirham except some ornaments worth seven hundred dirhams that were left over from his stipend."
