Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1646 حَدَّثَنَا طَاهِرُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ قَيْرَسٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرًّ الْغِفَارِيَّ وَهُوَ ع��لَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَى اللهِ شِبْرًا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِ ذِرَاعًا وَمَنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِ ذِرَاعًا تَقَرَّبَ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ بَاعًا وَمَنْ أَقْبَلَ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ مَاشِيًا أَقْبَلَ اللهُ ﷻ إِلَيْهِ مُهَرْوِلًا وَاللهُ أَعْلَى وَأَجَلُّ وَاللهُ أَعْلَى وَأَجَلُّ وَاللهُ أَعْلَى وَأَجَلُّ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, while upon the pulpit: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever draws near to Allah by a hand-span, Allah draws near to him by a cubit. Whoever draws near to Him by a cubit, Allah draws near to him by a fathom. Whoever comes to Allah walking, Allah comes to him running. And Allah is Most High and Most Exalted, and Allah is Most High and Most Exalted, and Allah is Most High and Most Exalted."
