Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1547 حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ النَّرْسِيُّ ح وثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ح وثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالُوا ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ جَهِدَتِ الْأَنْفُسُ وَضَاعَ الْعِيَالُ وَهَلَكَتِ الْأَمْوَالُ وَنَهَكَتِ الْأَنْعَامُ فَاسْتَسْقِ اللهَ ﷻ لَنَا فَإِنَّا نَسْتَشْفِعُ بِكَ عَلَى اللهِ وَنَسْتَشْفِعُ بِاللهِ عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَيْحَكَ تَدْرِي مَا تَقُولُ؟» فَسَبَّحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَا زَالَ يُسَبِّحُ حَتَّى عَرَفَ ذَلِكَ فِي وُجُوهِ أَصْحَابِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَيْحَكَ لَا يُسْتَشْفَعُ بِاللهِ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ شَأْنُ اللهِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَيْحَكَ تَدْرِي مَا اللهُ ﷻ؟ إِنَّ عَرْشَهُ عَلَى سَمَاوَاتِهِ وَأَرْضِهِ هَكَذَا» وَقَالَ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ «مِثْلَ الْقُبَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَئِطُّ بِهِ أَطِيطَ الرَّحْلِ بِالرَّاكِبِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, from his grandfather: A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, lives have become difficult, families are lost, wealth has perished, and livestock have been destroyed. Ask Allah the Exalted to send us rain, for we seek your intercession with Allah, and we seek Allah's intercession with you." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Woe to you! Do you know what you are saying?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) continued to say 'Subhan Allah' until its effect was visible on the faces of his Companions. Then he said: "Woe to you! Allah's intercession is not sought with any of His creation. The affair of Allah is greater than that. Woe to you! Do you know what Allah the Exalted is? His Throne is upon His heavens and earth like this" — and he gestured with his fingers — "like a dome, and it groans under Him like a saddle groans under the rider."
