Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1219a حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا سَيَّارٌ أَبُو الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ اسْتَعْمَلَ بِشْرَ بْنَ عَاصِمٍ عَلَى صَدَقَاتِ هَوَازِنَ فَتَخَلَّفَ بِشْرٌ فَلَقِيَهُ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ مَا خَلَّفَكَ أَمَا لَنَا عَلَيْكَ سَمْعٌ وَطَاعَةٌ؟ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ وَلِيَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أُتِيَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُوقَفَ عَلَى جِسْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإِنْ كَانَ مُحْسِنًا تَجَاوَزَ وَإِنْ كَانَ مُسِيئًا انْخَرَقَ بِهِ الْجِسْرُ فَهَوَى فِيهِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Wa'il Shaqiq ibn Salamah narrated: 'Umar ibn al-Khattab appointed Bishr ibn 'Asim over the charity collections of Hawazin, but Bishr held back. 'Umar met him and said: "What kept you back? Do we not have a right to your obedience?" He said: "Indeed, but I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Whoever is entrusted with any of the affairs of the Muslims will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and made to stand on the bridge of Hell.'"
