Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12297 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ تَلَقَّاهُ بِلِسَانِهِ وَشَفَتَيْهِ كَانَ يُعَالِجُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شِدَّةً» فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ} يَقُولُ لِتَعْجَلَ بِأَخْذِهِ يَقُولُ {إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ} يَقُولُ جَمْعَهُ أَنْ نَجْمَعَهُ فِي صَدْرِكِ وَأَنْ تَقْرَأَهُ {فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ} فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ {فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ} يَقُولُ فَاسْتَمَعْ وَأَنْصَتْ {ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ} أَنْ نُبَيِّنَهُ بِلِسَانِكَ فاسْتَراحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas said: When the Quran was being revealed to the Messenger of Allah ♂, he would move his tongue and lips to receive it, and he would exert himself greatly in doing so. Then Allah revealed: {Move not your tongue with it to hasten with it}. He says: to hasten in taking it. He says: {Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation}. He says: Its collection, that We gather it in your chest and that you recite it. {So when We have recited it, follow its recitation}. When We have revealed it, {follow its recitation} means listen and be attentive. {Then upon Us is its clarification} - that We clarify it upon your tongue. So the Messenger of Allah ♂ was relieved.
