Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11243 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُعَلَى بْنُ مَهْدِيٌّ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ الْحَنَّاطُ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا غُلَامُ احْفَظِ اللهَ يَحْفَظْكَ احْفَظِ اللهَ تَجِدْهُ أَمَامَكَ تَعَرَّفْ بِاللهِ فِي الرَّخَاءِ يَعْرِفْكَ فِي الشِّدَّةِ وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَا أَصَابَكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُخْطِئَكَ وَمَا أَخْطَأَكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُصِيبَكَ وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْخَلَائِقَ لَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى أَنْ يُعْطُوكَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يُرِدِ اللهُ أَنْ يُعْطِيَكَ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهِ أَوْ يَصْرِفُوا عَنْكَ شَيْئًا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُصِيبَكَ بِهِ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا سَأَلْتَ فَسَلِ اللهَ وَإِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللهِ وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّصْرَ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ وَأَنَّ الْفَرَجَ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ وَأَنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْقَلَمَ قَدْ جَرَى بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him: 'O young man, be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. Know Allah in times of ease, and He will know you in times of hardship. Know that what has befallen you was not going to miss you, and what missed you was not going to befall you. Know that if all creatures gathered to give you something that Allah did not will for you, they would not be able to, or to divert from you something that He willed to befall you, they would not be able to do so. So if you ask, ask Allah, and if you seek help, seek help from Allah. And know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress, and with hardship comes ease. And know that the pen has already written what is to be.'
