Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10500 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ وَيُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْعَبْدِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أنا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَمُحَقَّرَاتِ الذُّنُوبِ؛ فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَجْتَمِعْنَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ حَتَّى يُهْلِكْنَهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ضَرَبَ لَهُنَّ مَثَلًا كَرَجُلٍ كَانَ بِأَرْضِ فَلَاةٍ فَحَضَرَهُ صَنِيعُ الْقَوْمِ فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ بِالْعُودِ وَالرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ بِالْعُودِ حَتَّى جَمَعُوا مِنْ ذَلِكَ سَوَادًا وَأَجَّجُوا نَارًا فَأَنْضَجُوا مَا فِيهَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdullah reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Beware of the sins that are regarded as insignificant, for they accumulate upon a person until they destroy him." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave an example of this: "Like a man who was in a barren land, and the people prepared their meal. One man brought a stick and another brought a stick until they gathered a large pile and kindled a fire, and cooked what was in it."
