الثالث: عن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رجل للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم أحد: : رَأيتَ إنْ قُتِلتُ فَأَيْنَ أَنَا ؟ قَالَ : « في الجنَّةِ » فَأَلْقَى تَمَرَاتٍ كُنَّ في يَدِهِ ، ثُمَّ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيهِ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a man, said to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) during the battle of Uhud: "Tell me where I shall be if I am killed". When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied that he would be in Jannah, the man threw away some dates which he had in his hand and fought until he was killed..
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ احد کے دن ایک شخص نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اگر میں مارا جاؤں تو میں کہاں ہوں گا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: جنت میں۔ اس نے اپنے ہاتھ میں موجود کھجوریں پھینک دیں اور لڑتا رہا یہاں تک کہ شہید ہو گیا۔ (متفق علیہ)
