Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed the Zuhr prayer at Dhul-Hulayfa. Then he (peace be upon him) had his she-camel brought, and he made an ish'ar on the right side of its hump (making a wound with a spear or the like and drawing blood, so that it might become a mark of the sacrificial animal). Then he rubbed that blood with his hand and hung two sandals on the she-camel's neck. Then he (peace be upon him) mounted his riding beast. When it stood up straight in the open ground, he (peace be upon him) uttered the Talbiya for the Hajj. (The Talbiya is to say "Labbayk Allahumma labbayk.")
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ظہر کی نماز ذوالحلیفہ میں پڑھی۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنی اونٹنی منگوائی اور آپ نے اس کی کوہان کے دائیں پہلو میں اشعار کیا (برچھی وغیرہ سے زخم کر کے خون نکالنا تاکہ قربانی کے جانور کی نشانی ہو جائے) پھر اس خون کو ہاتھ سے مل دیا اور اونٹنی کے گلے میں دو جوتیوں کو لٹکا دیا۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنی سواری پر سوار ہوئے۔ جب وہ میدان میں سیدھی کھڑی ہو گئی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے حج کا تلبیہ پڑھا۔ (تلبیہ”لبیک اللہم لبیک“کو کہتے ہیں)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 733]
