Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed the first Tawaf in Hajj or Umrah, he would trot for three circuits, then walk for four, then pray two rakats, then do the say between Safa and Marwah.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب حج یا عمرہ میں پہلے پہل طواف کرتے تو تین بار دوڑتے، پھر چار بار چلتے، پھر دو رکعت نماز پڑھتے پھر صفا اور مروہ کی سعی کرتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 693]
