Narrated Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him): We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in Ramadan in severe heat, until one of us would place his hand upon his head because of the intensity of the heat; and none of us was fasting except the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and 'Abd Allah ibn Rawahah (may Allah be pleased with him).

سیدنا ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم رمضان میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ سخت گرمی کی حالت میں نکلے، یہاں تک کہ ہم میں سے کوئی گرمی کی سختی کی وجہ سے اپنا ہاتھ سر پر رکھے ہوئے تھااور ہم میں سے کوئی روزہ دار نہ تھا سوائے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماور سیدنا عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 603]
