The Mother of the Believers Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: When you come to a sick person or a dead person, say good words, because the angels say Amin to whatever you say. She said: When Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Abu Salamah has passed away. So he said: Supplicate thus: "O Allah! Forgive me and him, and grant me a good replacement in his stead." She said: I made this supplication, so Allah granted me a good replacement in his stead, that is, Muhammad (peace be upon him). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 452]
الترجمة الأردية
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جب تم بیمار یا میت کے پاس آؤ تو اچھی بات کہو۔ اس لئے کہ فرشتے اس بات پر آمین کہتے ہیں جو تم کہتے ہو۔ کہتی ہیں کہ جب ابوسلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کا انتقال ہوا تو میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آئی اور عرض کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! ابوسلمہ کا انتقال ہو گیا۔ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ یوں دعا کرو کہ”اے اللہ! مجھے اور اس کو بخش دے اور مجھے ان سے نعم البدل عطا فرما“کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے یہ دعا کی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے ان سے نعم البدل عطا کیا یعنی محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 452]
