Narrated Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): He heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "When you hear the adhan of the mu'adhdhin, say what the mu'adhdhin says, then send blessings upon me, for whoever sends blessings upon me, Allah Almighty sends ten mercies upon him. Then ask Allah Almighty for al-wasilah for me. Al-wasilah is a station in Paradise which will be granted to one of the servants of Allah, and I hope that I will be that servant. And whoever asks for al-wasilah for me (al-maqam al-mahmud, that is, a palace of Paradise), my intercession becomes obligatory for him."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ جب تم مؤذن کی اذان سنو تو وہی کہو جو مؤذن کہتا ہے، پھر مجھ پر درود پڑھو کیونکہ جو کوئی مجھ پر درود پڑھتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر اپنی دس رحمتیں نازل فرماتا ہے۔ اس کے بعد اللہ تعالیٰ سے میرے لئے وسیلہ مانگو۔ اور وسیلہ جنت میں ایک مقام ہے جو اللہ کے بندوں میں سے ایک بندہ کو دیا جائے گا اور مجھے امید ہے کہ وہ بندہ میں ہی ہوں گا۔ اور جو کوئی میرے لئے وسیلہ (مقام محمود یعنی جنت کا ایک محل) طلب کرے گا تو اس کے لئے میری شفاعت واجب ہو جائے گی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 198]
