حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، سَمِعَ زِرَّ بْنَ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ { لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى} قَالَ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ فِي صُورَتِهِ لَهُ سِتُّمِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Zirr bin Hubaish narrated on the authority of Hadrat ' Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be well pleased with him) that (the words of Allah): 'Certainly he saw of the greatest signs of his Lord' (al-Qur'an, liii:18) imply that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw Jibra'il (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in his original form and he had six hundred wings.
الترجمة الأردية
شعبہ نے سلیمان شیبانی سے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے زر بن حبیش سے سنا، کہا کہ حضرت عبد اللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے آیت ''آپ نے اپنے رب کی بڑی نشانیاں دیکھیں'' پڑھی اور کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے جبرائیل علیہ السلام کو ان کی (اصل) صورت میں دیکھا، ان کے چھ سو پر تھے۔
