حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ { مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى} قَالَ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ - لَهُ سِتُّمِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Shaibani narrated on the authority of Zirr, who narrated on the authority of Hadrat ' Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be well pleased with him), that he recited the verse: 'The heart belied not what he saw' (al-Qur'an, liii:11) and said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw Jibra'il (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he had six hundred wings.
الترجمة الأردية
حفص بن غیاث نے شیبانی سے حدیث سنائی، انہوں نے زر سے، انہوں نے حضرت عبد اللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے آیت: ''جھوٹ نہ دیکھا دل نے جو دیکھا'' پڑھی اور کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے جبرائیل علیہ السلام کو دیکھا، ان کے چھ سو پر تھے۔
