حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَنَتَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى أَحْيَاءٍ مِنْ أَحْيَاءِ الْعَرَبِ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Hisham narrated from Qatadah, from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him), that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) observed Qunut for one month invoking curses upon some tribes of Arabia (those responsible for the murders at Bi'r Ma'unah and Raji'), but then abandoned it.

ہشام نے قتادہ کے حوالے سے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک مہینے تک عرب کے قبائل میں سے کچھ قبیلوں کے خلاف بددعا کرتے ہوئے قنوت کی، پھر چھوڑ دی۔
