حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى أَحْيَاءٍ مِنْ الْعَرَبِ رِعْلٍ وَبَنِي لِحْيَانَ وَعُصَيَّةَ وَذَكْوَانَ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah the Almighty will say to the person with the lightest punishment in the Fire on the Day of Resurrection: If you had everything on earth, would you ransom yourself with it? He will say: Yes. He will say: I asked you for something easier than that when you were in the loins of Adam — that you not associate anything with Me — but you insisted on associating partners with Me.'
