وَحَدَّثَنِي حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْخَزَّازُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقُصِرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat ' Ali ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, saying: Yahya narrated to us, who said: Abu Salamah narrated to us, who said: Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated to us that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs of the Zuhr prayer, then gave salutation. A man from Banu Sulaim came near him and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), has the prayer been shortened or have you forgotten? And then he narrated the rest of the hadith (as above).
الترجمة الأردية
علی بن مبارک نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، کہا: ہمیں یحییٰ نے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں ابو سلمہ نے حدیث سنائی، کہا: ہمیں حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ظہر کی دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں، پھر سلام پھیر دیا تو بنو سلیم کا ایک آدمی آپ کے قریب آیا اور عرض کی: اے اللہ کے رسول! نماز کم کر دی گئی ہے یا آپ بھول گئے ہیں؟ اور آگے (سابقہ) حدیث بیان کی۔
