Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: Mu'adh used to pray with the Prophet (peace be upon him), then go and lead his people in prayer. One night he prayed Isha with the Prophet, then went and led his people. He started with Surah al-Baqarah. A man left the prayer and prayed alone. They told Mu'adh, who said: "He is a hypocrite." When the man heard this, he went to the Prophet and told him. The Prophet said to Mu'adh: "Are you someone who causes hardship? Recite such-and-such and such-and-such surahs."
