أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا اشْتَدَّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَجَعَهُ قَالَ «مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَلْيُصَلِّ بِالنَّاسِ» فَقَالَتْ لَهُ عَائِشَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ رَجُلٌ رَقِيقٌ إِذَا قَامَ مَقَامَكَ لَمْ يُسْمِعِ النَّاسَ مِنَ الْبُكَاءِ قَالَ «مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَلْيُصَلِّ بِالنَّاسِ» فَعَاوَدَتْهُ مِثْلَ مقَالَتِهَا فَقَالَ «إِنَّكُنَّ صَوَاحِبَاتُ يُوسُفَ مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَلْيُصَلِّ بِالنَّاسِ» قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لَقَدْ عَاوَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَمَا حَمَلَنِي عَلَى مُعَاوَدَتِهِ إِلَّا أَنِّي خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَتَشَاءَمَ النَّاسُ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ لَنْ يَقُومَ مَقَامَهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا تَشَاءَمَ النَّاسُ بِهِ فَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ يَعْدِلَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The father of Hamzah ibn Abdullah ibn Umar narrated: When the Messenger of Allah's (peace be upon him) pain intensified, he said: 'Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' Aishah said to him: O Messenger of Allah, indeed Abu Bakr is a soft-hearted man. When he stands in your place, he will not make the people hear due to weeping. He said: 'Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' She repeated the same to him, and he said: 'Indeed, you are like the companions of Yusuf. Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' Ibn Shihab said: Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah informed me from Aishah that she said: I indeed repeated that to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and nothing made me repeat it except that I feared that people would view Abu Bakr with bad omen, and I knew that no one would stand in his place except that people would view him with bad omen. So I wished that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would turn that away from Abu Bakr.
