أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَحْيَا وَبِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ» وَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ قَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَمَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Khalifa informed us, he said: Musaddad ibn Musarhad narrated to us, from Yahya al-Qattan, from Sufyan, from Abdul Malik ibn Umayr, from Rib'i, from Hudhaifa, who said: The Prophet ﷺ used to say when he went to his bed: 'O Allah, in Your name I live and in Your name I die.' And when he woke up, he would say: 'Praise be to Allah who gave us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.'
