أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ «أَهْدَتْ أُمُّ حُفَيْدٍ خَالَتِي بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمْنًا وَأَقِطًا وَأَضُبًّا فَدَعَا بِهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَكَلَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِهِ وَتَرَكَهُنَّ كَالْمُتَقَذِّرِ لَهُنَّ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا مَا أُكِلَتْ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلَا أَمَرَ بِأَكْلِهِنَّ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: Umm Hufaid, my maternal aunt, daughter of al-Harith, sent the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ghee, cottage cheese, and lizards as a gift. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called for them and they were eaten on his table, but he left them as if finding them distasteful. If they were forbidden, they would not have been eaten on the table of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) nor would he have ordered them to be eaten.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے: ام حفید، میری خالہ بنت الحارث نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو گھی، پنیر اور گوہ ہدیہ بھیجے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں منگوایا اور آپ کے دسترخوان پر کھایا گیا لیکن آپ نے انہیں چھوڑ دیا گویا آپ کو ناپسند ہوئے۔ اگر حرام ہوتے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے دسترخوان پر نہ کھائے جاتے اور نہ آپ ان کے کھانے کا حکم فرماتے۔
