was narrated that ‘Umar bin al-Khattab ؓ said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever shades the head of a warrior, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection; whoever equips a warrior until he is fully equipped, will have a reward like his; whoever builds a mosque in which the Name of Allah is mentioned. Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 376) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ ثنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَظَلَّ رَأْسَ غَازٍ أَظَلَّهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا حَتَّى يَسْتَقِلَّ بِجَهَازِهِ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated from Hadrat 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him), he said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever shades the head of a warrior, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever equips a warrior until he is fully equipped, he shall have a reward like his.'
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'جس نے کسی غازی کے سر پر سایہ کیا، اللہ قیامت کے دن اس پر سایہ فرمائے گا۔ اور جس نے غازی کو سامان دیا یہاں تک کہ وہ پوری طرح تیار ہو گیا، تو اسے اس جیسا اجر ملے گا۔'
